TST Martial Arts Academy

Daniel Peckett I

I first joined TST when I was 8 years old. When I arrived on the first day at Dallington Road Church hall I was a bit nervous and wasn't sure what to expect. I sat and watched Jon and Zoe Tizick along with Kevin Sowerby do a short demonstration and then I began my first lesson along with Paul Brown. One of my memories of my first day was of not being able to do star jumps and some of the exercises and I also noticed I was the only child there.

With the help of my instructors I have improved over time, with the 15th June 2008 being one of the best days of my life when I passed my black belt grading in Carlisle.

I would like to one day become an instructor with TST, so that I can put something back into the club which has given me so much.

I am very pleased for passing my 2nd dan grading and there is so much i wish to learn and will continue towards my 3rd dan grading i would also like to thank everybody at TST the instructors and all my friends that have supported me over the years. It is very hard to beleive how much time has passed since taking my 1st dan and there has never been a day since that i have regreted joining the greatest Tae Kwon Do club in the world.
